GATES, MITCHELL HOMES

       Guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gates, 1303 James Avenue, are their daughter, Mrs. John D. Garner of Hagerman, N. M., their son, Charles Gates and wife from Goose Creek; another son, Wilson Gates, and family from Valley Mills.  Also hosts to the visitors are another daughter, Mrs. Bob Mitchell, and family of 1401 James Avenue.
       Mr. Gates recently was honored with a birthday and retirement party by Humble Co. for whom he has been a diesel engineer for 29 years.
